Join us for our weekly, term time playgroup for children with additional needs/disabilities where everyone is welcome regardless of diagnosis or need.
Each week there will be a range of toys to play with, crafts, sensory items and a messy activity. There will also be a break out area with a film playing for anyone who needs some quiet time.

Danceversity Disco
We have teamed up with the Danceversity who run inclusive dance classes and discos. These sessions are fully accessible and will be adapted to all abilities.
Gateway Wheelers - SEND Cycling
We hold regular cycling sessions in conjunction with Gateway Wheelers.
Children can try out and ride a wide range of adapted cycles and go-karts on a special cycling track.
Sessions are held at Rectory Park in Houghton where Gateway Wheelers are based.
On the last Saturday of every month, we privately hire the swimming pool at Washington Leisure Centre. There is a large 25m pool, a learner pool with sensory hydro features and two water flumes to enjoy. There are also pool toys available at every session.
The pool is accessible with a pool hoist and disabled changing facilities along with several family changing rooms.
SEND Swimming
SEND Soft Play
We privately hire Fuzzy Ed's Soft Play at The Harvester in Sunderland. We will be host sessions on the first weekend of every month so children can climb, bounce, swing and slide in a safe and secure environment.
Smile Through Sport
We have partnered up with Smile Through Sport to deliver inclusive and accessible sport sessions. We have a regular tennis skills session which runs weekly and also multi-sports sessions which run during school holidays.
