Come along to The Pink Gym, the home of South Durham Gymnastics for a free play session where your child can balance, bounce, swing, jump and play in a safe and relaxed environment.  The venue is wheelchair accessible and there is a Changing Places facility within the building.

Sensory Playgroup and Angela's Ark

We look forward to welcoming Angela and her Ark to a sensory play session.  As well as the animals, we will also have available a range of sensory equipment, toys, arts and crafts so families can come along to relax and have some fun.

SEND Soft Play

We have privately hired Fuzzy Ed's Soft Play at The Harvester in Sunderland.  We will be hosting a session there in February so children can climb, bounce, swing and slide.

Danceversity Disco

We have teamed up with Danceversity who will be running sensory dance classes and dance parties over the coming year.  Danceversity will be hosting a sensory disco over February half term.  This is fully accessible and will be adapted to all abilities. Thanks to County Durham Community Foundation for providing funding for this.

Therapy Pony Party with Jo McShane

We are excited to be working with Jo and her team for a pony party. Jo is an experienced teacher who has worked with children with SEND for many years.  The children will be given the opportunity to interact with the ponies and participate in therapeutic activities which will be adapted to meet the needs of each child.

Sensory Story Session - We're Going on a Bear Hunt

We are delighted to have received funding from The Community Foundation to run some sensory story sessions.  Sensory stories bring tales to life by telling a short story through touch, taste, sound, vision, smell and movement.  We will be going on a bear hunt at our next story session.
