About the event
Tuesday 12th August – theme of Tennis and Basketball. This session is a relaxed and inclusive activity time designed especially for children with SEND. We'll be using tennis and basketball equipment in a fun and flexible way – not for competitive games, but to explore movement, coordination, and play. Children will have the chance to enjoy activities using tennis rackets, balls, and basketballs at their own pace, building confidence and motor skills through play.There will also be a variety of sensory-friendly equipment available, such as bean bags, skittles, and soft, squishy toys, allowing children to choose what they feel most comfortable with.
This is not a traditional sports session. There’s no pressure, no teams, and no competition – just a safe and supportive space for children to be active, have fun, and try new things.
For the sessions, please bring a water bottle and appropriate footwear.
