About the event
We have partnered with South Shield Surf School to enable us to offer rock pool sessions, We'll head down to the rock pools and help you find, identify and learn all about the creatures that are left behind by the tide.
Lead by outdoor education specialists where we'll provide all the equipment needed. We'll spend an hour and a half rummaging in our local rock pools.
If tide times mean its not safe to explore the rockpools ,we will be doing activities on the beach and this depends on the children's interests but we have arts and crafts (including casting with plaster of paris, and hapa zome), shelter building, loads of options for digging and building with the sand, beach combing, natural art.
