SEND AAASports - Gymnastics

AAA Sports Disability Gymnastics Classes are designed to provide a fun and supportive environment for individuals with disabilities to participate in the sport of gymnastics. Their experienced coaches are trained to adapt and modify activities to meet the needs and abilities of each participant.

In the disability gymnastics classes, participants will have the opportunity to work on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through a variety of gymnastics activities and equipment.

There will be a range of equipment including balance beams, trampolines (these are full height gymnastic trampolines and may not be suitable for all children), high beams.  The children can learn new skills with the support of the AAA instructors.  There will be a small range of sensory toys available to play with, if your child would prefer a free play session.

Please note all children must be supervised at all times.

The benefits of our disability gymnastics classes go beyond just physical fitness. These classes also promote socialisation, self-confidence, and independence. Their coaches and volunteers create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that encourages personal growth and achievement.

If your child has Down Syndrome, please contact us before booking as you will need to complete, and have signed, by a health professional, a form related to Atlanto Axial Instability before your child can participate to ensure their safety.
