About the event
The project will give children and young
people with PMLD a facilitated creative experience in purpose built inflatable sensory pods.
This is an inclusive project aimed at introducing theatre to extraordinary audiences. The workshops are accessible & engaging for young people and their caregivers, focusing on communication development, play & sensory exploration.
The sensory pods are equipped with projectors, fans, textured props & safe smells to complete a sensory experience.
Running time: 30 minutes of guided activity followed by 15 minutes of play Total run time – 45 minutes
Within the pod we will only be able to accommodate one adult per child, the other adult is more than welcome to stay outside the pod in the centre, due to the nature of the experience only the PMLD child will be able to attend, we can not cater for siblings.
